Client:
UK Government,
Goal:
Capturing the events at a conference.

DIUS, the Government department for Innovation, Universities and Skills wanted to keep a record of their All Together Now conference. Our suggestion was to film a conference summary video. We filmed the speakers, footage of the crowds as they networked, plus the breakout sessions. The clips really gives a flavour of  event, as people were really engaged by the speakers.

The event already had a brand and graphic, so we bounced off this to create the animations that bring the whole piece together.

My favourite speaker is Jenny Owen, also known as Ruby Pesudo, who gave some great insight into young people’s perceptions of social media. Ruby’s eponymous agency works with some of the world’s leading brands. Established in 2008, Pseudo delivers first-class consumer insight, strategy and resources to its diverse range of global clients.

Ruby started Pseudo as a youth insights agency, then grew to a global collective of people of all ages over the world. Now, they are a global collective that turns rigorous insight into actionable, clever and intelligent strategic thinking. This gives brands the resources to stay useful, agile, powerful and invested in human beings and their lives.

You can hear her speak around 2 minutes into the clip.

After posting the video to the event’s website and social media, organisers saw a lift in interest around the event. The organisers are planning to use the clip to promote next year’s event.
