How we made a photoshoot documentary with Vogue and Space NK

Our client Space NK were delighted to be appearing in six-page feature in Vogue Magazine. The article was to feature Space NK founder Nikki Kinnaird and the founders of six of their key brands. Wanting to make the most of this opportunity they asked us to film a photoshoot documentary at the event.

Realising the potential, we suggested filming interviews with each founder, and then intercutting them to tell the story of Space NK. We knew a full 3 minute video might be too much to chew for the average online viewer so we provided a cut down version, plus a teaser video to use in the build up to the launch.

“I think the Vogue video looks amazing. I was very pleased with both the interaction and professionalism on the day as well as with the final cuts – I feel it met the brief perfectly.”

How did they use the photoshoot documentary?

The video is now showing on their FaceBook page and other social media spots, boosting the brand and their reputation. The video has been watched by hundreds of the brand’s fans. This has exposed them not just to Space NK, but 6 of the product ranges from their stores.

We also transcribed the interviews, providing valuable copy for PR and website use to promote each of the Founder’s ranges.

All in all, a productive day’s filming and a very happy client.
