Marketing a new building, capturing attention and communicating the way the building will feel on completion is hard, especially when you haven’t broken ground yet! If you’re an architect video is the perfect way to solve these challenges.

We’ve created video for a selection of different architects and building companies, each with different aims. Video is a powerful way of portraying the feel of the planned building, and an effective way to show progress as it’s built. All of this encourages buyers to want to find more about your development. Here’s how we’ve helped Architects and Developers with their projects.

Our portfolio of Architect Video Content

The Ray

We created an architectural mood film for AHMM. Our challenge on this project was to capture the sense of a building that hadn’t been built yet in a compelling architectural mood film. The building, called The Ray, will stand at the crossroads of Farringdon and Clerkenwell, on the former headquarters of the Guardian newspaper site. The Ray is a commercial building and the video is used on the client’s website home page and to show to prospective buyers.

Essential Living

Essential Living are a Build To Rent Developer that builds and runs residential properties for rental only. They asked us to produce footage to bring some movement into their website just as they were developing their first sites. With the buildings not finished, we had to find another way to create content for them!

We filmed local colour shots in the parks, cafes and streets near their developments. We then set up a lifestyle shoot to show how the apartments will look when complete. Some of the content was simple loops that took the website visitor a few seconds to realise they were actually moving.

Essential Living also used these looping videos on their Instagram.

Enterprise House

Our client Texcel Developments asked us to make a video that showcased the redevelopment of a important and historical building in Dartford.

Filming across two separate days we were able to firstly capture the works in progress and interviews with the build team. Then once completed we captured shots of the finished building, with interviews of the new tenants to support the transformational story of this key building in Dartford.

Tower Hamlets Council

Tower Hamlets Council were looking for a building project video that shows the history of The Whitechapel Centre. They wanted to show the challenges and development of the building work. Most importantly, they wanted to communicate how the improvements to the centre will benefit and support the local community. We were able to offer Tower Hamlets a flexible approach, filming over a long period in a Grand Designs style. We also conducted interviews with the relevant people at different points throughout the project.

All in all, if you’re an architect video is definitely an effective marketing tool!
