One of the joys of working with a wide range of clients is that you never know what you’re going to be making a film about next. This time it was mannequins!

Essential Living provides rental-only properties, with shared onsite facilities likes gym, lounges and large rooms for entertaining. They commissioned a statue to place in each of their buildings. So today, we got to visit Robert Patterson’s studio where he makes mannequins for everyone from Gucci to BHS. We spent the day filming the new statue and asking him about his work.

I’d never really given shop mannequins a passing thought, but learned a lot about the way styles and tastes have changed and the considerations that go into a good design.

This footage will be edited in to a film later in the year.
