Sometimes a client asks us to make foreign language¬†versions of a video for use on international markets, such as this recent Sales Support animation we made for Schawk Colour Lab. After voice over sessions I like to find out from the voice over artist how to say the word butterfly in the language we’ve recorded in. I’ve always found the word has an onomatopoetic quality in the way it flutters on the tongue.

I’ve drawn the below as a playful representation of how the word sounds from the different languages we’ve recorded in recently.¬†Can you guess which country they are all from?
