Client:
Arts and Business Awards,
Goal:
Create engaging content for an awards evening

We were asked to make an awards event video for the Arts and Business awards night. We filmed in several of the deliberation sessions, where judges were reviewing each project. This took place in quite small rooms, so was hard to film around them without interfering. We set up lights in a corner near the window of the building. We used a branded stand as part of the backdrop. As the building looks out on to the street, we could see people walking down the street, which gave the interviews some energy.

Back at the studio, we cut these together into a video for each award. The b-roll was perfect to help bridge the edits in the interview. We added some graphics such as name straps and titles based on the Arts and Business

The awards ceremony was held at the Hayward Gallery, which was heaving and the atmosphere was buzzing. It was great seeing our work up on the big screen. Each time a winner was announced, one of the film would be played.

We were commissioned by Sarah McMinn, Marketing Manager at Arts and Business. She followed up with us after the event, saying:

“Napoleon Creative gave us a very competitive quote and provided an excellent service. They were responsive and maximised what could be achieve within our budget and challenging time constraints.”

Budget is always a consideration, but you can always be creative with what you have. Always great to hear good feedback on our awards event video!
